Our Approach to AI

SYSTIQO Tech Labs designs and deploys AI systems, for this business and for clients, with the same engineering discipline we apply everywhere else: human oversight, clear boundaries, and accountability for outcomes.

We use AI where a problem needs judgment over unstructured information, not by default. Many operational problems are better solved by a defined workflow, an integration or a fixed rule, and we say so when that is the case. Highly regulated use cases are assessed individually before we engage.

Human Oversight

AI systems we build are designed with human review points for consequential decisions. Which tools an AI agent may use, and where it must stop and hand over to a person, are decided in the design and sized to the consequence of an error. We do not position AI as a replacement for human judgment in high-stakes contexts without appropriate safeguards.

Data Use

Where client data is used to build or evaluate an AI system, access is limited to what the work requires, it is used only for the agreed purpose, and it is not used to train any model, ours or a third party's, without the client's explicit agreement.

Our Own Use of AI

Our contact form uses a third-party AI model to label submissions that look like spam. A person reads the label alongside the enquiry, and the model does not decide whether we reply. Our Privacy Policy describes this in full.

Transparency

When AI is used in a system that affects an end user, we work with clients to make that use appropriately transparent, rather than obscured.

Limitations

AI systems can be wrong. We design for graceful failure (clear fallbacks, monitoring, and the ability for a human to intervene) rather than assuming AI output is authoritative by default.

Changes

We may update this policy as our practices and applicable guidance evolve.
